Proposal Information

Description:

Assist in responding to records requests, which include Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) requests, subpoenas and other disclosure requests. This includes the gathering of relevant documents, reviewing all relevant files to identify responsive items, making legal determinations of confidentiality and maintaining records of all responsive items to be provided to party making the request.
Format, draft and proofread legal documents.
Read, review and redact specific information from case investigation reports, other investigative materials, administrative hearing decisions and other sensitive documents.
Audit and review redactions performed by others.
Must be able to set own priorities and manage all deadlines in accordance with legal timeframes.
Provide assistance to others by performing various legal and administrative tasks, including but not limited to, mailing, scanning, faxing, filing and copying.
Assist with the creation, documentation and implementation of procedures and filing systems.
Conduct legal research.
Perform other duties as assigned.
