Proposal Information

Description:

Create ArcGIS shapefiles, perform geoprocessing, spatial analysis and data management functions, and assist with development of geodatabases to support the Division of Water programs. Intern will create and modify project specific shapefiles and assist with other Division priorities. This position will provide an opportunity to learn about many of the Division of Waters programs including: watershed management, water quality assessment, and permit programs.

Deliverables, as determined by project needs:
* Maps for presentations and publications
* Creation and modification of project specific shapefiles
* Updates to attribute tables, geoprocessing and spatial analysis
* Analysis of environmental data
* Documentation of project

These deliverables will be used by the Division of Water to support program objectives. GIS intern will be supervised by BWRM staff.
