Project Description:
OGS D&C's mission is to provide a full range of high quality architectural, engineering and construction management services to State agencies through an interdependent model of public and private sector resources, in a timely, efficient, responsive and cost effective manner thereby enabling those agencies to fulfill their own diverse missions on behalf of the people of the State. Seeking intern working for the NYS OGS Design & Construction Group involved in assisting with all facets of design activities or construction management activities.

Specific Work Duties on Projects:
Duties may include conducting construction inspection, site investigations, assistance with the preparation of reports, materials and equipment research, developing and maintaining project schedules, writing project status reports and assistance with developing contract bid documents on a variety of projects. Projects may range from relatively small single trade projects to large scale multi trade projects requiring coordination with multiple disciplines. Travel may be necessary
