Proposal Information

Description:

After becoming familiar with rap sheets and the relevant statutes related to hiring applicants with a criminal history, the intern would be trained to assist in resolving open charges on the rap sheets and drafting Criminal Background Check (CBC) determinations letters depending on he applicant's criminal history. As part of the duties, the intern will also become familiar with the CBC system. The intern will become familiar with issues related to the Staff Exclusion List such as what entities are required to check it and will assist as needed, in adding contacts to providers in the Vulnerable Persons Central Register (VPCR) and responding to general inquiries about the Staff Exclusion List (SEL) checks.
