Description:

Intern will work with the technical services staff including: Architects, Landscape Architects, Engineers and others.

Intern is expected to have good organizational skills and should be able to work efficiently with team members to assist with and develop successful projects.

Intern will obtain, evaluate and record field information for multiple projects and will assist staff with surveys, and existing conditions documentation.

Intern will prepare plans, details, drawings, and other graphic documents for various projects and will prepare a final presentation and report for one independent special project.

Intern is expected to work with limited direction and supervision using AutoCAD Architecture.

The reporting location is the Taconic Regional Office in Staatsburg, NY.

Typical hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm.

Driving to and from State Park and Historic Sites located in Dutchess, Columbia, Putnam and Westchester Counties will require use of NYS official vehicles. Intern must have valid driver's license.
