Proposal Information

Description:

Under the direction of a IES Deputy Director, the Student Assistant will assist with many activities including project management tasks, assisting with updates to program documentation activities including procedures documents, and administrative tasks.

Additional duties include but are not limited to:

* Support project managers within IES performing junior PM activities
* Work directly with IES Deputy Director and serve as the liaisons between IES business, operations, technology and project management
* Perform or assist with processing of HBITS task orders, interviews, etc.
* Perform HR and Onboarding activities for new employees including equipment, accounts, badge access, etc.
* Write office procedures for routine tasks
* Gather and document business requirements
* Special projects or tasks as assigned by Deputy Directors.

The incumbent will report to the Integrated Eligibility Office at 40 North Pearl Street Albany, NY 12207. The position is on a part time basis, 30 hours per week. This position will be Tuesday - Friday 9:00 - 5:00. Note, we will have some flexibility on the days/hours worked.

 

Skills:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Sharepoint, MSProject & Visio Experience

Excellent communication skills

NYS/NYC government knowledge preferred

Health/Human Service knowledge preferred
