Proposal Information

Description:

Looking for intelligent, quick-thinking and poised individuals to assist us in Division of Local Government Services (DLGS) tasks.

The Division is in need of someone to:
- write press releases and script entries for our internal newsletter;
- interview local government officials regarding projects our division has facilitated;
- build content (photos, social media posts, quotes, etc.) for use by the DOS Public Information Office;
- assist in events and off-site presentations that will require additional hands;
- assist administrative staff with office operations, such as records management, reporting, filing, etc.

You will develop relationships with DOS staff, local government officials and other agency personnel, learn about local government/state relations, and come away with a better understanding of State operations.

 

Skills:

Familiarity with MS Windows & Office

Familiarity with Microsoft Word

Familiarity with Microsoft Excel

Strong people skills

Strong phone etiquette
