Description:
As a legal intern you will be assigned to our Administrative Review Division. Requires a 21 month commitment starting in September. Incumbent would be 15-20 hours per week during the school year and full-time (Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm) during the summer. Incumbent to be trained on how to review files and analyze issues on cases where an administrative review is requested, and how to draft proposed Memoranda of Decisions (MODs) on these cases for submission to a panel of Board members. By December, it is anticipated incumbent could produce 1 MOD per week. Direct assignments will be given by a supervisor. It is anticipated the incumbent could be used to supplement the staff attorneys and substitute for staff attorneys on vacation. The incumbent could also be assigned research projects.
