Description:

Completing draft Psychiatric Evaluation Reports, requesting records to ad hoc requests from psychologists, research summaries, past examples have included (Impact of Solitary Confinement, sex offender typologies and sexual recidivism, relationship between being sexually victimized and later offending, hebephilia, and presenting research summary findings at Lunch and Learns and Research Roundtables). Adding annotated bibliographies to old research summaries, assisting in court preparation for psych examiners, reviewing and summarizing Penile Plethysmograph (PPG) scripts, and preparing Annual Review Summaries from a review of computerized records of offenders who are in secure treatment facilities. Completing the Endnote Library for Psychiatric Examiner folder, organizing articles from examiners in electronic PDFs ensuring they are in Endnote with their location indicated, organizing research articles on in Psych Examiner/Court Prep Folder, ensuring articles are labeled by author's last name, sorting by topic and indicating that placement in Endnote, writing brief summary of recent, relevant research, reviewing landmark case law, and assisting with ad hoc projects. Attend meetings, trainings if interested, and possibility of observice a VTC testimony.
