Proposal Information

Description:

The intern will be assisting a Materials Management professional in analyzing groundwater monitoring data and compiling information regarding emergent ccontminants (including PFAS). Inactive Landfill Mapping Project. The intern will assist in the Division's Inactive Landfill Mapping initiative. The intern will be directed by staff to identify, locate and compile data on inactive landfills throughout the State, using the Division landfill files and internet searches. This work may include limited field work as the identified landfills will often require field verification. These data would then be transferred to the Division's Solid Waste Information Management System. Duties will include data analysis and some possible field work.
