Description:
Responsible for providing support to the Department of Small Business Services staff including but not limited to seminars, workshops and Community and Economic Revitalization Support Program (CERSP) funding support.
WORK PERFORMED:
- Assist with vetting individuals and organizations that apply for CERSP funding.
- Review and identify discrepancies of line-items in budgets submitted for CERSP funding.
- Work with the Department of Small Business staff to prepare materials for business seminars and conferences.
- Attend meetings of HCDC partners including the Frederick Douglass Boulevard Alliance, Bradhurst Merchants Association, and the New Harlem East Merchants Association.
- Perform special projects related to tourism and economic development.
- Perform other office support duties as directed
