Description:
Under the direction of the Business Systems Analysts, the Business Analysis Center of Excellence (BACOE) Interns will reside within the Health and Behavioral Health IT Portfolios and will work on tasks that help drive the BACOE's development and practice, as well as the marketing of Business Analysis services and standards within the Portfolios. Some of the activities in this area include:
* Participation in monthly BACOE meeting, including assisting with preparation of meeting materials
* Assist in creation of process guides and templates and publish them to the BACOE SharePoint site
Additionally, the BACOE Interns will actively work on application development projects, assisting the Business Analysts with ongoing activities including, but not be limited to:
* Stakeholder Analysis
* Requirements Elicitation and Documentation
* User Experience analysis
* Security Analysis
* Business Process Modeling
* High-level information modeling
* End User Training
* Testing applications
* Client Relations
* Working within cross-functional teams
The BACOE Interns will have hands-on experience, and become familiar with the skills necessary to become a successful Business Analyst, based on the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge, v3 and ITS Center for Business Analysis standards.
