Proposal Information

Description:

The Governor's Special Counsel team seeks rising second-year or third-year law students to assist with a wide range of legal issues. The interns' responsibilities may include: researching legal issues on matters before the Governor's office and executive agencies; assisting with the drafting of and review of policies and procedures; preparing for and attending meetings with executive staff; and drafting legal memoranda and correspondence. Interns will work directly under the supervision of Assistant Special Counsels, and will be exposed to a variety of matters arising across the state executive branch. Interns must have strong research, writing, and communication skills.
