Proposal Information

Description:

Assist the ITS Human Services, Solutions Architecture, Shared Services, Enterprise Content Management (ECM) team. The team assists ITS in delivering state-of-the-art business processes to NYS agencies. This Center currently has a fully featured ECM environment utilizing the following products: Content Engine, Process Engine, DataCap, and Internet Content Navigator products are deployed. In addition, the following products are slated to be deployed very soon: FileNet System Monitor, Case Analyzer, Case Management, and Records Management. ECM is moving from the back office to the forefront, positioning ECM as a Service thereby reducing costs while revolutionizing an organization's operational effectiveness and business processes.

The team already supports NYS strategic applications/services including;

* OGS/Business Service Center's Invoice Processing (3,500 users statewide);
* Imaging/Enterprise Document Repository (I/EDR), 35,000 users, 2M images per week.
With this foundation of expertise and products, this ECM team is poised to significantly expand in scope and magnitude, becoming the premier ECM group in ITS. We will need data analyst and project management skills to assist us with offering new data analytics based services. We would like to utilize the internship program to help in this area, and to develop potential employees for our team.

Duties will include:

Working within the ECM team to deliver ECM services according to the requirements of the supported business units;
Work with business units to develop ECM requirements;
Participate in a data analytics initiative using Tableau;
Develop and monitor relevant project plans - participate in overall Project Management process;
Ability to communicate within the team, to management, and to users in a clear, professional manner;
Participate in Enterprise Data Management initiative - Develop reports as needed;
Participate in the maintenance and continuous development of ECM Financial Metrics and Benefits report;
General business administration tasks.

Hours are 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday-Friday; with the exception of holidays.
