Description:
The NYS Department of Transportation is looking to fill several Student Assistant positions state wide. The duties will vary from position to position, depending on the assignment. Interns will perform duties such as GIS, engineering, accounting, auditing, research, policy and planning, surveying, administration, environmental science, landscape architect, etc. Student Assistants will report to professional level staff performing various duties to achieve the mission of the agency.
Internships are full time (37.5 hours per week), Monday through Friday. Daily schedule dependent on the position.
Candidates must have completed one full time semester (at least 12 credit hours) in an accredited degree program, and must also be currently enrolled full time (at least 12 credit hours) for the upcoming fall 2018 semester.
