Description:
Inactive Landfill Mapping Project. The intern will assist in the Division's Inactive Landfill Mapping initiative. The intern will be directed by staff to identify, locate and compile data on inactive landfills throughout the State, using the Division landfill files and internet searches. This work will include limited field work as the identified landfills will often require field verification. These data would then be transferred to the Division's Solid Waste Information Management System.
