Proposal Information

Description:

Software development including, databases, programming, web development, GIS mapping and data analytics.
Duties:
* Assist development of new database applications for DOW programs (e.g., SPDES permits, water quality assessments, funding)
* Maintain existing databases
* Assist to develop information technology tools to support DOW programs
* Assist to develop software to help manage various DOW permit programs
* Participate in department team meetings

The ideal candidate will have experience with FileMaker and Visual Studio, or other similar software; programming skills (preferably Java, SQL, Python, and VB.Net); familiarity with web map technology; knowledge of principles of GIS; experience with ArcGIS; and working knowledge of MS Access, MS Word.
