Description:
The intern will research eligibility for medical services for OPWDD served individuals who are also children of veterans or those currently serving in the US Armed Forces. The intern will research and write technical procedures for state staff for applications, recertifications and dealing with billing issues, which will enable the state to move billing from Medicaid to other sources. The intern will also assist in revising this section's policies and procedures on forensic admissions and determination of eligibility for benefits such as Medicaid and Social Security Disability. Normal office hours are 8-5, M-F; the internship can flexible inside those times.
