Proposal Information
Description:
This position will involve the provision of psychological services to individuals who are eligible for OPWDD. The location may be in Community IRAs, day programs, and in the various offices of OPWDD in the Capital District region.
Under the supervision of a licensed psychologist the intern will assist psychology staff in the performance of psychology related duties which will include but not be limited to the following:
- Working directly with individuals receiving services
- Assisting Master's level psychologists in their duties
- Participating in various meetings based on need and interests
- Assist in data collection, entry and analysis of behavioral data
- Participating in assessments, such as risk assessments
- Writing notes and reports as needed
- Participating as a member of the clinical team
The candidate must adhere to OPWDD policies and procedures. The candidate must adhere to the APA code of ethics.
