Description:

The Capital Services office is a very professional group of licensed engineers and registered architects who manage a large budget of capital services to take care of over 1000 residential and commercial buildings. The engineering intern would assist all engineering staff and the Director of Capital Services with daily task consisting of computer organization of technical information. The intern will be involved with review and oversight of various construction projects and building code related issues that our agency handles. Capital Services has a new software data base system that needs to be populated with technical information related to building infrastructure and it is expected that the intern assist in this effort. Basic responsibilities include working on task as they arise from the engineering staff such as organizing technical documents, filing, emailing , and calling of other relevant colleagues related to the engineering tasks of OPWDD/Capital Services.
