Proposal Information

Description:

The law student intern will conduct legal and policy research and writing related to New York State's Freedom of Information Laws and other areas as needed. The student will engage in legal research and analysis; prepare legal and policy briefings for members of staff; and perform vetting research for candidates for executive appointments using public databases and compiling results in concise reports to senior staff. This will be a very interactive internship. The student will be expected to perform high level tasks and will have a workload consistent with his or her availability. The student will interact with all members of the Executive Chamber, including Counsel's Office, Press, and State Operations staff.
