Proposal Information

Description:

As an intern they would perform several duties on behalf of the DOCCS Bureau of Mental Health. Those duties are listed below.

¿ Evaluate agency practices regarding suicide prevention and make recommendations to improve/change current practices and procedures. Also, to analyze past suicides/suicide attempts to identify trends that can help assist future suicide prevention efforts.
¿ Evaluate and analyze current mental health program manuals and make recommendations to modify and improve current practices when appropriate.
¿ Analyze program research statistics and evaluate their results and effectiveness.
¿ Serve as a member of a designated workgroup when needed.
