Description:
The student assistant will assist the AIX server support team with day to day activities such as creating reports and spreadsheets, updating and verifying data in the ServiceNow ticketing system, monitor server performance via graphs and logs and complete basic system admin tasks. In addition, candidate may be involved with verifying hardware inventory and participating in disaster recovery tests.
Candidate must also show a willingness to learn and be able to work well with teammates and those mentoring him/her.
Skills:
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
Knowledge of Unix OS is preferred
