BASIC FUNCTION:
The intern should be interested in marketing, economic development, and government. In addition, he/she should be receptive to feedback and open to working in a fast-paced environment, where tasks could change day-to-day.

WORK PERFORMED:
- Assisting on a broad array of projects, both internal and external to Empire State Development
- Analyzing market research that supports NYS marketing initiatives
- Gathering, organizing, and updating relevant marketing data for presentations
- Participating in and learning about the production side of business including agency meetings

Education Level Required:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, business or related field.

Skills:

Profcnt in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Proficient in Excel

Expernce/interest in research analysis

Excellnt verbal/written communctn skills

Stng orgnztnl & critical thinking skills
