Proposal Information

Description:

* Provides overall general administrative support for CNS as needed
* Takes phone calls and messages when CNS Director is not available
* Creates Purchase Requests (PR) and reviews for accuracy those PRs submitted by CNS Network Teams
* Maintains information on CNS Procurement Sharepoint site to track status of Purchase Requests
* Drafts communications and announcements to CNS Staff as requested
* Schedules meetings as needed in support of CNS Business
* Maintains, tracks, and orders office supplies
* Tracks and publishes weekly CNS Technician On-call roster
* Maintains information, schedules, etc., on the CNS On-Call Sharepoint Site
* Assists with filling out and tracking quarterly HR staffing requests
* Produces spreadsheets, reports, etc., as needed in support of CNS Business
* May be required to produce periodic reports from IT Service Management (ITSM) System
* Other office-related responsibilities as needed

Eligibility Requirements:

All interested candidates must be:

-- a US Citizen or foreign national eligible to work in the United States
-- 18 years of age or older
-- Currently attending a New York State college, university, or graduate program or be a resident of New York State attending a college, university or graduate program outside of New York State.
-- a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year College or University (completion of one year's worth of academic credits over a more extended period of time may qualify part-time students for participation in the Student Intern Program); or a currently enrolled graduate student or accepted in a graduate degree program
-- have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0
-- Preferred degree enrollment and/or skills outlined within the individual opportunities

Competitive Salary:
Undergraduate: $18.92/hour
Graduate: $21.23/hour
