Proposal Information

Description:

Offshore wind development is new to the Atlantic Coast but has been commercially active in Europe for over a decade. The selected intern(s) would research and summarize the body of literature (preferably peer-reviewed) describing fishery, habitat and resource impacts (positive and negative) of offshore wind development (especially post-construction/operations). Biological/ecological, human behavior and socio-economic impacts are all to be considered. This is primarily a research position but occasional opportunities for unrelated field work are possible if the intern(s) is motivated.
