Description:
The Office of the Chief Technology Officer is looking for an enthusiastic student, who is interested in information technology, computer science, and marketing communication. Illustrative duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Work closely with the Enterprise Architecture Team (EA Team) to research and document enterprise architectures and use cases
* Work in a team environment where you'll collaborate with others and continue to develop skills in areas such as applications delivery, infrastructure planning, applications development, and project management
* Work with enterprise architects to meet the challenges of government service delivery
* Work with a variety of technologies including databases, networks, servers, applications and cloud technologies.
* Written and verbal communication skills are required to write, edit, publish, organize and maintain documentation and online content for the Office of the Chief Technology Officer and the EA Team using appropriate software including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio)
* Bring new ideas and fresh perspective to the team
Preferred qualifications:
* Junior level college student
* Major in Information Technology or Engineering
Eligibility Requirements:
-- a US Citizen or foreign national eligible to work in the United States
-- 18 years of age or older
-- a New York State resident or attending a New York State college, university, or graduate program
-- a minimum of one (1) year as a student at a degree-granting two or four-year College or University (completion of one year's worth of academic credits over a more extended period of time may qualify part-time students for participation in the Student Intern Program); or a currently enrolled graduate student or accepted in a graduate degree program
-- have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0
Competitive Salary:
Undergraduate: $18.92/hour
Graduate: $21.23/hour
