Proposal Information

Description:

During 2017, the Central Registry of Police Officers and Peace Officers and the Security Guard Program are scheduled to move to a new, state of the art - web based data collection system named Acadis. Replacing today's paper laden process that totals approximately 282,000 officer records per year, the new Acadis system, utilizing portal access, will allow employers and training providers to submit course completion and personnel data in real. The Student Intern will assist in implementation efforts involving the new system including managing a process of cataloging over 2,000 Use & Dissemination agreements and associated portal account holder information database. Duties will include, but are not limited to:
Work with OPS staff to assist in tracking and cataloging user account documents.
Working with security guard program staff on the documentation of business processes.
Assist in coordination of training and deployment of Acadis to law enforcement and security guard customers.

Typical hours and days of office operation are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm.
