Description:
High Peaks Wilderness Trail and Campsite Inventory and Analysis Intern:
Working with the Land Manager, Interns will do field work, collecting data on trail conditions and different facilities. Photographs, GPS points, measurements and field notes will be taken, while on assignments. Inventory work will also be performed at campsites across the Wilderness Area. Following field work the data will be assembled in useable formats, with reports and consolidation of the information for future work plan development.

This internship will involve traveling along backcountry, wilderness trails, while working independently and in a small team. Report development will be conducted in an office setting.
