Description:
The major function the position will perform is answering calls and troubleshooting with end users.
Complete duties: Within End User Services of the Chief Operations Office, the Student Assistant will answer calls and provide help desk support for multiple state agencies and application across the state. Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Answer calls to the Enterprise Service Desk
* Evaluate the call and nature of the problem to determine if it should be referred to a higher resolve group
* Provide application support to a variety of environments, following unit procedures in providing customer solutions and
ticket coding
* Provide support for Windows desktop operating system questions
* Provide support for Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Access, and Outlook questions
* Reset passwords for Active directory, site minder and Oracle
* Use remote control products, such as Microsoft Lync, to support customer issues
* Support troubleshooting hardware, printer and similar issues
