Paid Family Leave (PFL) program in New York will be implemented in January 2018. Paid Family Leave will provide employees with wage replacement to help them bond with a child, care for a close relative with a serious health condition, or to help relieve family pressures when someone is called to active military service. The Workers' Compensation Board is looking for three interns to assist the Board's Paid Family Leave program to develop written narrative procedures that will be used by internal business units to support the processing of PFL cases.
