Proposal Information

Description:

We offer legal and non legal (college) internships to students in all of our offices in New York State: Albany, Buffalo and New York City and Suffern. Legal interns are responsible for compiling and analyzing documents; performing legal research and drafting of legal documents for staff attorneys; proofreading and cite-checking; drafting correspondence to other state, local and federal agencies; performing research for the entire staff, including investigators, attorneys and auditors; assisting staff with miscellaneous tasks as requested and creating databases, inputting data and analyzing such accordingly. College interns work under the supervision of our Case Management Unit to review and process complaints to determine jurisdiction. Draft referral letters to other agencies. Perform research, maintain filing system and track complaints in a computerized data base.
