Description:
The Student Assistant will assist with the labor intensive process of calling farmer's markets that operate in the Farmer's Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) season (June - November) to find out if they would like to update their operating details and/or apply for the program; assist with the annual mailings to farmer's markets and farmers in the FMNP; process FMNP farm applications; conduct field surveys of FMNP markets.
The internship is paid $14.60 per hour and requires up to 25 hours per week. Student Assistants may work a part-time schedule during the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
