Proposal Information

Description:

Analyze WCB eClaims data to determine patterns of data deficiencies in submission of First Report of Injury and Subsequent Report of Injury (FROI/SROI) transactions by workers' compensation insurance carriers or other trading partners. Using IAIABC's national EDI standard, research and report which areas of received claims data can be improved upon in order to enhance its overall quality. Draft communication to carriers and employers, including the New York State government pilot facilities, to confirm data already reported to the WCB and processes utilized to report FROI/SROI data. Provide simple statistical reports to document findings, show comparisons of varying carriers and employers, and draft suggestions to improve data collection. The typical hours and days of office operation is 8AM to 5PM, Monday through Friday.
