Description:
Assist in the collection, management and maintenance of the Division of Marine Resources geospatial data. The position will have the opportunity to work with data from various programs. The intern would also assist in the development of guidance documents to help staff use best practices when collecting and analyzing their data.
Ideal candidate will have a background in natural sciences with some experience with ArcGIS and MS Access (or some other relational database program). Strong research and communication skills. Some experience with scripting (Python, R or VBA for Applications) a plus.
