Description:
The reporting location is the Taconic Regional Office in Staatsburg, NY. Intern will work with the Technical Services Group and Park staff including: landscape architects, architects, and engineers. Intern must have valid driver's license to visit Park and Historic Sites located in Dutchess, Columbia, Putnam and Westchester Counties. Intern is expected to obtain, evaluate and record field information for project(s). Intern should be able to work with team to develop successful project(s). The individual will prepare plans, details, presentation drawings, and written documents for final report or project. The intern will need to assist staff with information gathering and surveys. Intern is expected to work with limited direction and supervision using computer software commonly used in the field of landscape architecture. Typical hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.
