Proposal Information

Description:

Interns may be assigned specific tasks within any of the following areas: directed research; communication planning and implementation; and program implementation, including assistance with greenhouse gas inventories, refinement of Climate Smart Communities certification program and review of certification documentation, assistance to communities implementing climate actions, and development of computer applications to facilitate agency greenhouse gas inventory.

Students with backgrounds in environmental studies, natural resource management, environmental engineering, hydrology, climate science, public administration, public affairs, urban planning, natural resource economics, communications or related fields are preferred. All positions require excellent research, writing, and interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently. Some positions could require ability to develop and manage computer databases and applications.
