Proposal Information

Description:

The primary task to be completed is the Division's inactive landfill mapping project. The intern will be requested to compile documentation regarding inactive landfills in the State. The work will include both paper files and internet research. The compiled datasets will be used to generate an interactive map identifying landfill locations and access to key information regarding these landfills. An intern with GIS coursework will be preferred. Other tasks may include researching the use and disposal of solar panels. The intern will be requested to work on additional tasks that may arise during their internship.
