Description:
The intern will support the County Emergency Preparedness Assessment (CEPA) program. CEPA helps the State obtain a greater understanding of local preparedness levels and helps to better position the State to support local disaster preparedness and response efforts.
The intern will participate in all aspects of the program to include:
- Developing and preparing materials/powerpoints
- Assisting with note taking during the session
- Preparing the draft/final reports
- Collecting data and analyzing statewide trends i
- Research and administrative support activities
- Researching assigned topics.
** Due to the nature of this program, it is required that the intern is available to travel. All travel is within the NYS. However, there will be instances of overnight travel. Please provide a copy of your Spring 2017 course schedule as part of your application. This internship position will be PAID due to the level of commitment required.
Hours/Days of operation: Monday through Friday, 8:30AM - 4:00 PM w/ occasionally overnight travel.
