Proposal Information

Description:

Technical support internship including databases, programing, web development and GIS mapping. Must be a University at Albany student enrolled in a participating degree program. Duties may include the following: database design; maintaining existing databases, developing new database applications, updating surface water map layers; map development and GIS analysis to support DEC Water programs; other water-related map layer development, including facilities, sampling locations, watersheds, etc..

 

Skills:

Database design

FileMaker, Visual Studio, Access, Word

Knowledge of GIS principles

Experience with ArcGIS Desktop software

Web mapping technologies
