Description:
The internship at the NYS Department of Motor Vehicles, Procurement Services, will enable the selected applicant to gain exposure to DMV Fiscal Management Policies and Procedures and New York State Finance Law. The intern will be responsible for the development of a solicitation analysis tool. The intern will work closely with staff from Fiscal Management and additional DMV program areas to create content for the analysis tool and will utilize various software programs to develop the tool. The intern will be responsible for testing and revising the tool accordingly. The intern may also be responsible for additional duties, as assigned. The preferred applicant will be a highly motivated individual who is comfortable working independently as well as in a group dynamic. Applicants must be proficient in Word and Excel, and experience with SharePoint and Drupal is preferred. Applicants must have strong analytic, technical, and communication skills and be comfortable working with new software programs.
Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30.
