Proposal Information

Description:

Participate in SIST conference calls between OMH, Parole and the AG's Office. Learn how decisions are made regarding viability of SIST for respondents. Intern will assist in analyzing data to determine the number of respondents who are referred for substance abuse evaluations, and how many need further treatment. Attend SIST community team meetings with parole officers and community providers. Research topics related to sex offender assessment, recidivism, risk/protective factors and treatment. Hours may increase to 25/week during semester and school breaks.
