Description:
New York State recently embarked on a multi-year implementation of a Statewide Financial System. This is a project for a detail oriented person who is looking for experience encompassing governmental financial business coupled with a financial system implementation.
Tasks:
*Participate in the completion of SFS related assignments associated with the next implementation phase.
*Conduct testing as needed to validate the effectiveness of the system in meeting the system user and program requirements and ensure system modifications are performing as intended.
*Assist with post go live validation of SFS and Oracle reports, new reconciliation processes , and other duties as needed.
*Document new or revise procedures resulting from new business processes or SFS requirements.
*Assist with developing training materials.
*Other assignments as needed.
