Proposal Information

Description:

Interns would be supervised by the Governor's Office of Regional Affairs. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: assisting the Regional Representative with event scheduling, planning, and implementation; monitoring local media; tracking events; leader contacts and casework; research and writing issue briefs; and general support activities. Interns need to have great interpersonal skills, be detail-oriented, and possess strong verbal and written communications skills. Interns should also have worked with Excel and data bases.

Familiarity with New York State government is a plus.

To be considered for an internship, students must:
*submit a cover letter explaining why he or she is seeking an Executive Chamber internship;
*submit a resumé;
* be available to work a mimimum of 30 hours each week;
* be currently enrolled as a Junior or higher;
* hold a 3.2 GPA or higher
