Proposal Information

Description:

The intern will work with SPTC administrative and IT related staff to "clean up" student data and enrollment numbers through the award winning Statewide Learning Management System (SLMS). We moved data from an old database into SLMS and would like to make the old data up to date. There is also a lot of manual data entry related to SLMS and course registration/course completion that is required.
The intern would assist with checking students in at the beginning of a course, as well as entering course evaluation data into Snap Survey and creating reports. Everything related to course delivery from preparing for and cleaning up after lunches, preparing course material, and setting up course materials in classrooms will also be a portion of the daily duties of the intern.
The intern will research items for purchase, assist with the preparation of procedures or work instructions, create spreadsheets and assist on various projects as needed.
The intern will work with the Logistic Manager assisting in the inventory and distribution of training equipment and materials before, during and after traininig courses.
The intern would normally work Monday - Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., however evenings and weekends may be required depending on the training courses.
