Position Information:
The New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets is seeking a Student Assistant to work at their headquarters at 10B Airline Drive in Albany, NY. This position performs a variety of duties in support of the Marketing Order and Farm Products Program. Specific duties include assisting the Marketing Order team with work as part of the state marketing and research programs; recording in the program database and filing submissions from farmers; contacting farmers or distributors for follow-up; sending out bulk mailings; preparing statistical data; answering phone and email inquiries; preparing reports for board meetings; and other tasks as assigned by the program manager.

Salary:
The pay rate for the Student Assistant is $16.10/hour.
