Proposal Information

Description:

The intern will facilitate individual and group cognitive behavioral therapeutic practices with incarcerated population currently housed in a Residential Rehabilitation Unit in a state correctional facility. This will include teaching self-regulation techniques, structured cognitive behavioral lesson plans, journaling and recreational activities.

Number of hours per week: 10 - 20 hours

Desired candidate profile:
Preferred level of education: The minimal enrollment of a Junior or senior in a Bachelor level program, Master level student preferred. Supervision can be provided to MSW student, master level counseling student and Psychologist Master level student intern.
The Minimum level of education: Bachelor level with at least 90 semester hours of study completed. Master level preferred.
